The greatest message in the world deserves the chance to be heard in creative and compelling ways. It is not okay for church to be boring! You can expect our services to include an upbeat and contemporary style of music, multi-media, and a challenging message from God’s Word.

Transition Update

Church Family,

As we near the end of the year amid our transition, here are some important dates and information for you to know for the month of December.

The remodel has gone very well, but we have had some challenges with all the vendors and acquiring new items in this COVID era. With that understanding, the painting is near complete and items have been ordered. Carpet will be installed beginning the week of Dec 7th.
That means we are on target for a Christmas Eve in the new building and maybe a bit earlier. This leads us to the following dates.

Nov 29 – Dec 6, 13: Church at Home

Gather with friends and family and tune in to our engaging, fun, and worshipful service at 11 a.m. on Facebook. It has elements of fun and interactivity as well as a life-giving message and a reflective moment. It has it all, and for parents don’t forget to go to the Youtube page for Compass Church (Blue C).
There you will find the kids lessons and the parent guide in a downloadable format.

Dec 3-5: Moving weekend.

This weekend will be all hand on deck as we move all our stuff from one building to the other. We will have moving trucks and need teams of people at both sites as trucks go back and forth. Saturday the 5th, we plan to complete most of the move and we will provide pizza for lunch. If you intend to be at any of those days, please contact Randy at [email protected] This will help us to prepare for the tasks and particularly if you want to eat on Saturday.

Dec 20: TBD
Stay tuned! Church may be online or it may be our first service in the new location.

Dec 24: Christmas Eve Candlelight & Communion Service
It’s Christmas Eve at Compass and you don’t want to miss this special service at 5 p.m. to kick off your Christmas celebration.

Dec 27: Last service of the year

Dec 31 – Youth all nighter (Details to come)

New Service time:
When we move into the new building, we will introduce a new service time of 10:30 a.m. With a new larger space for our sanctuary and kids’ hall – we will be able to accommodate everyone very comfortably.

Lastly, thank you for giving to help make this transition. If you have not given, remember our End of Year offering goal is $40k. The first $1k helps backpacks of Love. The rest of the money will help pay for the move and the new items we will all enjoy. You can find a link to give on our website.

We are holding online services while we prepare to move to our new location at 8127 NW Expressway.
